AHJ, Made Easy
AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) is the code authority that approves your design and tests—often the fire marshal, building department, and sometimes FM Global. What they care about (and we handle):
- Fire-water volume & duration, refill plan, pump/suction arrangement
- Proper separation of fire-water from process/TES
- Anchorage/seismic/wind compliance and safe access
- Acceptance testing and inspections (hydrostatic, alarms/supervision)
Our approach: We issue a short, AHJ-friendly concept package early (volume/duration calc, layout, compliance letter, PE summary). Fewer RFIs, faster approval.
